Footprints in the Sand% c# F. O7 ?3 g% F5 o

One night I had a dream
. V: @( K/ W. I5 K& H9 j$ h+ E' s: yI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
2 v! c/ t3 [- m5 g0 {Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
8 H  p; Z0 E- F# S- P. @+ S$ }, sFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
' o4 `; D, s3 B. `1 _  None belonging to me- s! B! [6 n0 y
and the other to my Lord.
6 G$ l% V) ~! H: wWhen the last scene of my life shot before me2 f6 G9 e( {. q- u
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.' T# S: P5 v8 _3 |1 n
There was only on set of footprints.
5 d( z! }; e3 L1 JI realized that this was at the lowest ( F& m( k: C) M  d$ g+ d* P4 M
and saddest times in my life.; j) z5 O. `" l$ w$ j4 F
This always bothered me
4 u! ?2 g, o3 [4 Kand I questioned the Lord
: H3 ?9 Q' u1 kabout my dilemma." E% _7 ?8 x+ L% s- V
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,9 \! y- l- w6 y+ W4 c8 |
You would walk and talk with me all the way.5 K  h9 G( ?/ q0 A' w/ p
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
$ T" ~+ T+ \0 |6 ?times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
& w- e: D2 Y! y" w2 I3 v+ \( T1 hI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
4 F# n5 s: f8 F3 ]- u- p2 U  cyou leave me."
8 c6 p. B  Z* D' A& w5 tHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
3 S  U, t+ ]  S  w0 YI love you and will never leave you; K% A6 r0 \4 H$ M7 {
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.% }7 q0 S1 l/ r3 w/ X2 m1 n$ v
When you saw only one set of footprints( K7 E- s) S8 r0 W+ \9 M6 K
It was then that I carried you."
